Senior High Voltage E/E Engineer

Overview

As a Senior High Voltage E/E Engineer, you will lead systems engineering for high voltage architectures across batteries, BMS, and power electronics. You will define and manage HV system requirements, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and support integration across global projects. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, interact with customers, and drive reliability and safety improvements. This role offers the chance to shape electrified propulsion solutions in a multinational engineering environment.

Responsabilità

• Design HV systems and sub-systems for integration into testing and development platforms, including batteries, BMS, chargers, inverters, and HV distribution
• Develop and manage HV system architectures to meet performance, safety, and customer requirements
• Define and maintain battery and HV system requirements, interfaces, and traceability
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global project teams for effective HV integration
• Interface with customers to clarify specifications and present HV solutions
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot HV and test system issues
• Ensure compliance with HV safety standards and electrical regulations
• Participate in hazard analyses, risk assessments, and safety reviews
• Contribute to HV safety concepts, isolation, interlocks, grounding, and procedures
• Plan, coordinate, and review integration, verification, and validation activities for HV systems
• Support HV system verification and validation planning, execution, and result analysis
• Drive performance optimization, reliability improvements, and technology innovation
• Document engineering instructions with focus on safety, quality, and schedule
• Break down requirements into engineering work packages
• Share best practices across projects and global teams

Requisiti fondamentali

• 4-7 years of experience in Battery Systems, High Voltage Systems, Electrification Systems, Energy Storage Systems, or related field
• Experience with battery development projects, HV power distribution, charging systems, power electronics, or electric propulsion systems
• Solid understanding of high voltage electrical systems, HV safety principles, and electrical protection concepts
• Familiarity with BMS, charging technologies, and energy storage systems
• Willingness to travel
