The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts. /p h3Job Description/Preferred Qualifications /h3 pWe are looking for a bCustomer Support Engineer /b to support our customers with current and future tools installed at the customer site. /p pKnowledge of mask inspection tools is highly desirable, and experienced internal candidates are preferred. /p pWe will consider new graduates provided they demonstrate a strong hands-on competence and a desire to succeed. /p h3YOUR MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: /h3 ul liSuccessful applicants will be formally trained at one of our award-winning training centers. /li liDomestic and international travel is required on a regular basis. /li liResponsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of highly complex capital equipment at customer sites. /li liBe the face of our company, ensuring customer satisfaction with our service and maintaining the operational quality of system equipment /li liCoordinates actions with customers to minimize down time. /li liProvides assistance to Installation Engineers in resolving problems. /li /ul h3WHAT YOU WILL BRING: /h3 ul liCertified engineer or degree from advanced technical school or :5 years industry working experience. Technical military occupational specialties and training may be considered. /li liAbility to understand and tackle problems in software, electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and/or electro-optical systems to address on site customer problems. /li liExperience working on electronic systems within semiconductor, medical devices, defense, aerospace, or aviation industry is a plus. /li liOutstanding interpersonal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. /li liProven track record of engaging empathetically with customers, ensuring a positive experience, while fostering a collaborative environment to address their needs and concerns. /li liDriven to be hands-on and passionate about learning new things /li liProactive communication that facilitates seamless collaboration and address customer requirements effectively. /li liFluency in English is mandatory.
