Manager - Insurance - Risk & Regulatory

Joining TNP’s Financial Services team , you will collaborate with the Top Management and/or the operational departments (Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit, Finance, Commercial Department, Investments, etc.) of main Insurance market players in their strategic and business transformation projects.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

• Analyse existing processes to identify inefficiencies and levers to improve operational performance (collecting data and meaningful elements during on-site analysis and dedicated workshops).
• Identify and propose improvement solutions to the client, jointly validating the roadmap to achieve the objectives.
• Managing, collaborating, and motivating their team to maximize results.
• Coaching client teams to achieve results beyond expectations.
• Achieve top management satisfaction by bringing required solutions and meeting defined milestones.
• Developing own know-how and knowledge network in the areas of operational excellence.

WHO YOU ARE

• Master’s degree in Management Engineering or Economics
• Strong experience (6 to 10 years) in Risk & Regulation projects within the leading consulting firms or the main Insurance market players
• Knowledge of the main insurance business, control and supporting processes
• Deep knowledge of the Solvency II, IDD and main IVASS’s regulations, ESG and sustainability impacts on Insurance industry
• Experiences in the implementation of the Risk Governance framework for insurance companies
• Estimation process of Technical Provisions, local and international accounting principles (IFRS17, IFRS9) will be considered as a plus
• Experience in managing complex regulatory transforming projects with one or more teams under his own responsibility
• Capability to establish direct relationships with CxOs of the insurance companies (CRO, CFO, Compliance officer, Internal Audit Officer, Actuarial function, Chief of investments, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite
• Knowledge of analytics tools such as Python and data visualization tools (Power BI) is also highly appreciated
• Proactive with excellent initiative, autonomous and results oriented
• Rigorous and pragmatic with good analytical, synthesis and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in managing extended/international teams and running projects in autonomy
• Keen on coaching and training younger resources
• Excellent level of Italian and English. Knowledge of a third language (French/Spanish…) will be considered as a plus.
