About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Web Application Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will work closely with and support our experienced developers in building, maintaining, and improving the web applications that run our B2B distribution operations and internal processes.

What You Will Do

• Develop Features: Assist in building and maintaining web applications supporting our B2B operations, focusing on writing clean, readable code.
• Backend & APIs: Support the integration and optimization of backend services, databases, and APIs under the guidance of senior team members.
• Collaborate: Work alongside the team to understand business requirements and help translate them into functional code.
• Troubleshoot & Test: Help debug technical issues, write tests, and participate in code review processes to maintain code quality.
• Learn & Grow: Actively learn our system architecture and development workflows to take on more independent responsibilities over time.

What We Are Looking For

• Core Frontend: Strong, hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Including e xperience with frontend frameworks (like React, Vue, or Angular)
• Web Development Experience: Some practical experience (through academic projects, personal projects, or internships) building web applications.
• Backend Basics: A good basic understanding of backend development, databases, and API concepts.
• Software Fundamentals: A solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Development Workflows: Familiarity with Git version control and standard testing processes.
• Soft Skills: A strong willingness to learn, ask questions, and collaborate openly within a team.
• Languages: Working proficiency in English. Since we collaborate on-site in Emilia-Romagna, Italian language skills are highly beneficial.
• Education: A degree or diploma in Computer Science (or a related field), or equivalent practical experience.

Pluses (Nice to have):

• Familiarity with the .NET framework (C#).
• Experience or interest in using AI-assisted coding tools to speed up development.
• Basic data recovery and analysis skills.
