Sales Engineer

Are you passionate about technical sales and building strong customer relationships? We are looking for a Sales Engineer in Tuscany and Lazio region, to support business growth within the Process Industry segment. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and expanding business opportunities with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), End Users, and distribution partners, while promoting Emerson's products and solutions portfolio. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations teams to deliver value-driven solutions to customers and contribute to sustainable business growth.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

 Drive sales growth and market penetration within the assigned territory and Process Industry segment.

 Develop and maintain strong relationships with target accounts, distributors, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and end users through regular customer engagement and site visits.

 Identify new business opportunities and support the development of strategic growth initiatives.

 Track and Manage opportunities, plans, visits, leads, account by CRM (SalesForce).

 Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with customers while ensuring profitable business outcomes.

 Contribute to sales planning, forecasting, and business performance tracking activities.

 Collaborate with Customer Service, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure excellent customer support and successful project execution.

 Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive developments, providing valuable feedback to the organization.

 Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a strong customer-centric culture in all interactions.

You are proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

For This Role, You Will Need:

 Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Studies, or a related field; alternatively, relevant industrial sales experience.

 Previous experience in technical sales, industrial automation, fluid control, process industry, or a related industrial environment.

 Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

 Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.

 Good organizational and analytical skills.

 Proficiency in English and the local market language.

 Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

 Experience working with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), End Users, and distribution channels.

 Familiarity with process industry applications, valves, fluid control, automation, or industrial solutions.

 Experience in territory management and strategic account development.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The total compensation salary range for this role is 40.700 to 55.100 EUR annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.

For roles covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the applicable salary range and pay structure are set by that agreement, including how pay levels and progression are defined ( CCNL Metalmeccanici - )
