AIT Manager m/f Ref. AIT_2026

Overview

In this role you act as the focal point for all AIT activities on a satellite project, coordinating resources across teams to ensure timely delivery. You will develop and maintain the AIT plan, flow, and WBS, and monitor costs, schedules, and quality. You will lead cross-functional collaboration, including procurement and test campaigns, towards successful EVT, IRR, TRR, and PTR outcomes. This position places you at the core of mission-critical integration work within the AIT department and requires hands-on technical judgment and strong stakeholder communication.

Responsabilità

• Coordinate AIT activities across the project lifecycle from proposal to completion
• Prepare and maintain the AIT Plan, Flow, WBS, and WPDs as inputs to project WBS/WPD
• Evaluate labor and non-labor costs for AIT activities
• Prepare, maintain and manage the AIT Schedule
• Coordinate resources across teams outside the AIT department
• Establish and implement resource shift plans for nominal and critical activities
• Monitor AIT progress and update cost and ETC/EAC values
• Lead daily meetings when applicable
• Ensure application of quality rules and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate preparation of AIT documents (Procedures, Dashboard, Setup design, As-run Procedures, IRR, TRR, PTR)
• Provide input to the Risk Register
• Verify input readiness for AIT jobs (test/config requirements, system schedule, manuals)
• Coordinate technical aspects of Test Facilities procurement and support their commercial aspects
• Prepare, participate in and lead EVT and Launch Campaigns as needed
• Participate in or coordinate AIT participation to IRR, TRR, PTR, NRB, Progress Meetings and similar reviews

Requisiti fondamentali

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar
• at least five years of professional experience in AIT
• ability to coordinate resources and work in single/double shifts
• strong interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders
• familiarity with Space Business documentation (manuals, architecture, design and test requirements, procedures, drawings)
• problem solving and root cause analysis
• good reporting and management communication
• flexibility to work on long-term missions and during campaigns
• knowledge of quality principles in Space, both in and outside a Clean Room
• ability to capture lessons learned and apply to future activities
• proficiency with MS Office, MS Project and other project control tools; CAD Viewer software
