Itb Cash Management Product Manager

CACIB has a strong ambition to become a leading regional player for cash management services in Europe and in Asia, through the implementation of a client-driven business model and the delivery of innovative services.

To achieve this ambition, the International Trade and Transaction Banking (ITB) department of CACIB aims to transform its cash management set-up into the whole client value chain, from on-boarding to reporting and including all services provided to clients.

Role Summary

• Responsible for Italian Corporate Cash Management products offer definition, in close coordination with Front-Office – geographical scope could be extended to other countries of Southern Europe
• Responsible for the delivery of local products/specificities including relevant mandatory regulatory requirements
• Responsible for following-up IT Delivery on scope covered
• In charge of facilitating Nexi supplier relationship

Main responsibilities

• Product Offer Development

• Define detailed Cash Management products offer for Italy in agreement and close coordination with Front-Office and Transaction Banking Products Teams in Paris to have a consistent offer across Europe, including Key Italian Market Standard and considering local regulatory constraints.

• Define Italian Roadmap: preparing business cases to assess new product development opportunities as well as providing “Clients Need expression” (CNE), detailing for each product the impact on all the chain including (but not limited to) subscription, monitoring, billing, reporting.

• In charge of local “go product” process: for each specific Italian product (i) preparing Implementation Guide as well as products presentations, (ii) coordinating contracts preparation/update, (iii) defining pricing structure with relevant stakeholders within TB management guidelines, (iv) preparing and coordinating local validation committee (NAP).
• For Standard European products, coordinating the local NAP and facilitating the onboarding of the local teams on the new offers and processes.

• In charge of local market watch: (i) following Market trends on Cash Management and Payment Services in the geographies covered, (ii) having transversal view on products and services available as well as regular interactions with the local sales teams to get the “voice of the client” and shape the product vision on the local offers to be developed, (iii) also being aware of significant RFPs and committed to help design our responses. (iv) Contributing to building our European standard offer and facilitating its deployment with the local teams (Sales, Client service, …).

• Project Management

• Follow-up the delivery by the IT teams, helping to coordinate the execution and contributing to the testing strategy definition as well as the execution involving local support functions.

• Run activities

• Facilitate the relationship with the provider NEXI as far as business/functional topics are concerned, in particular in case of new SEPA / Swift release.

Profile Requirements

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant product/project manager experience in cash management on Italian Market in financial services environment
• Management of complex cash management projects within transversal teams
• International experience;
  working across borders in a truly multi-cultural environment

Technical Skills

• Strong domain knowledge in Corporate Cash Management in Italian Market and in European environment on the following products:channels including CBI, payment, including Taxes, collection, reporting, liquidity management, account services, clearing & settlement.
• Thorough understanding of relevant products specific to Italian market such as Italian domestic and international payments, real-time payments, client acquisition and reporting channels (account statement/PSR…), SWIFT/CBI/EBICS channels, RTGS transactions and FX payments.
• Process: end to end business knowledge of Payments all the way from customer initiation via channels to back-end fulfilment and settlement
• Good understanding of Italian Legal / Tax / CM regulatory constraints and capability to exchange with local or regional experts to identify and integrate limits in the offer
• Good understanding of the processes and IT systems for Cash Management

Languages

Italian and English full professional proficiency. French is a plus
