FREELANCE JavaScript Developer – SOFTWARE MIGRATION PROJECT

Location: Northern Italy

Languages: Italian + English (Essential)

Contract: Freelance (6 months)

Rate: Negotiable

The Role

We are partnering with a global organisation within the industrial manufacturing sector , across industries including aerospace, agriculture, construction, food & beverage, manufacturing, mining, power generation, transportation and more.

They are seeking a Senior Software Developer to drive a critical software migration initiative . This role requires a hands-on expert capable of providing technical oversight across cloud, IoT, and SaaS environments , while operating within a structured project framework.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight across Azure Cloud , containerized environments, and IoT solutions (including customer-hosted systems)
• Support design and definition of SaaS-based service models
• Drive Agile delivery best practices, with a focus on CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure all development activities meet regulatory and compliance requirements

What my client is looking for (Requirements):

• Fluent in Italian & English (essential)
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (deployment, scaling, integration)
• Strong experience in JavaScript is essential
• Hands-on expertise with containerization tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes/AKS)
• Strong background in open-source technologies (Linux)
• Proven experience delivering IoT solutions, particularly within SaaS-based products
• Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines within Agile environments
