SOC brings together all operational activities in Italy related to fabrication, technical services, maintenance, and logistics, providing essential support for the execution of offshore construction and offshore wind projects. /ph3Purpose of the position /h3pAs Vessel Operations Engineer, you will be part of the Asset Based Services Business Line. /ppThe Vessel Operations Engineer is responsible for providing operational and engineering expertise to support both tendering activities and project execution. The role involves reviewing engineering deliverables, addressing operational challenges, and advising the Project Operations Manager (or delegate) on industry best practices. By working closely with the project engineering team, the Vessel Operations Engineer contributes to the successful achievement of project and tender objectives, ensuring alignment with approved plans, procedures, and operational requirements. /ph3How can you support us? /h3ulliProvide operational and technical expertise to support tendering activities and project execution, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of offshore operations. /liliReview engineering deliverables, installation methodologies, procedures, and execution strategies, identifying risks, optimization opportunities, and operational improvements. /liliAdvise Project Operations Managers, Vessel Management Teams, and project stakeholders on operational best practices and effective execution solutions. /liliSupport project planning, mobilization, installation, and demobilization activities, ensuring the timely availability and efficient utilization of vessels, equipment, materials, and resources. /liliCoordinate and consolidate inputs from Engineering, Operations, Assets, and specialized disciplines to ensure alignment between project planning and offshore execution. /liliContribute to the resolution of technical and operational challenges, providing guidance to offshore and onshore teams throughout all project phases. /li /ulh3What are we looking for? /h3h3Education /h3pMaster’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Naval, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering /ph3Background /h3p3-5 years.
