Grid Manager

Overview

In this role you will oversee the technical, regulatory, and connection aspects of PV and BESS projects from design through commissioning. You will coordinate grid connections, interact with DNO/TSO portals and Italian stakeholders, and ensure alignment with grid code and regulatory requirements. You'll collaborate with project teams to optimize design, assess risks, and support procurement and EPC management. You will drive compliance and continuity across multiple projects, delivering robust connection strategies that enable commercial operation.

Responsabilità

• Manage grid connection procedures and coordinate with stakeholders for potential collaboration up to commercial operation
• Handle DNO/TSO portals and input data into IT platforms (myTerna, Gaudi', metering, Enel)
• Assist in technical review and approval of vendors to ensure optimal cost-technical outcomes
• Analyze connection options, costs, impacts, and risks with technical input
• Monitor grid connection risks and implement mitigation measures
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and business development to develop project designs
• Oversee transmission regulatory regimes and opportunities for synergies with other promoters
• Participate in consultations with government, regulators, TSOs, and other stakeholders
• Provide inputs to investment budgets, schedules, and planning activities
• Analyze Grid Code Compliance Requirements and develop project documentation
• Support Procurement in supplier relationships, cost analysis, and tender materials for grid connections
• Assist with managing EPCs/constructors on connection works
• Manage the connection process with TSO/DSO including STMD requests, connection agreements, Gaudì registrations, and portal documentation

Requisiti fondamentali

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of the Italian energy industry, regulation, and stakeholders
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly
• Systematic and detail-oriented approach
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
