SUBSEA CONTROLS ENGINEER

ppOn behalf of our client, we are looking to hire a Subsea Controls Engineer, responsible for the engineering, integration, verification, and operational readiness of subsea control systems supporting shallow-water subsea pipelines, manifolds, valves, and associated structures. The role focuses on instrumentation, system logic, interface engineering, and implementation of the field operational philosophy. /p h3Subsea Controls Instrumentation Engineering /h3 ul liDevelop and review specifications for topside subsea control system (i.e. HPU, TUTU, EJB, EPU, MCS), subsea control system (i.e SCM, Flying leads, Actuated valves, Electrical and Hydaulic Flying leads) and related instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flowmeters, valve sensors). /li liEnsure proper integration of instrumentation with SCMs and MCS. /li liOversee design of subsea electrical/hydraulic control circuits related to controls and instrumentation including Umbilical and Subsea Control system network. /li /ul h3Control System Design Functional Logic /h3 ul liDefine control narratives, functional logic diagrams, and cause-and-effect matrices. /li liVerify communication protocols (Modbus, CANbus, Ethernet, fiber optics). /li liEnsure compliance with API 17F, API 17O, ISO 13628-6. /li /ul h3Implementation of Operational Philosophy /h3 ul liTranslate operation philosophy into control strategies (startup/shutdown, ESD logic, pigging, CI control). /li liDesign control modes (auto, manual, remote, local). /li liEnsure procedures support safe operability and maintainability. /li /ul h3Interface Integration Engineering /h3 ul liCoordinate with pipeline, umbilical, topside ICSS, and vendor teams. /li liManage technical interface registers. /li liEnsure alignment of controls and instrumentation before FAT/SIT. /li liPrepare and review FAT, EFAT, SIT, commissioning procedures. /li liWitness SCM, MCS, instrumentation calibration, and loop testing. /li liSupport offshore commissioning and system energization. /li /ul h3Operational Assurance Troubleshooting /h3 ul liSupport onshore/offshore operations. /li liReview instrumentation diagnostics and condition monitoring data. /li liTroubleshoot instrument and control logic issues. /li liStrong subsea instrumentation knowledge. /li liExpertise in SCM, MCS, HPU, CI lines, and ESD logic. /li liAbility to translate operational philosophy into field-ready controls. /li liSkilled in PIDs, I/O lists, CE charts, logic diagrams. /li liOffshore commissioning and SIT experience (preferred). /li /ul h3Seniority level /h3 pMid-Senior level /p h3Employment type /h3 pFull-time /p h3Job function /h3 pOil and Gas and Industrial Machinery Manufacturing /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
