pThe position offers a hybrid working model. /p h3About Bertrandt /h3 pBertrandt is an international engineering and technology partner supporting leading customers in the Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, Industrial and Digital Engineering sectors. /p h3What We Are Looking For /h3 pFor a leading international Defence company based in Rome, we are looking for a C++/Qt Software Engineer with experience in the design and development of Graphical User Interfaces (GUI). /p pThe selected candidate will be involved in the design, development, integration and validation of software applications, contributing to the creation of intuitive, user-friendly and high-performance interfaces. The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the effective integration of user interfaces with application functionalities and to enhance the overall user experience. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop and maintain software applications using C++ and Qt; /li liDesign and implement modern, intuitive and responsive Graphical User Interfaces (GUI);Develop user interface components leveraging the main features of the Qt Framework; /li liManage user interactions, event handling and application workflows; /li liDesign and organize layouts according to usability and UX best practices; /li liIntegrate graphical interfaces with application functionalities and backend components; /li liCollaborate with software, system and validation teams throughout the development lifecycle; /li liContribute to the improvement of User Experience (UX) and usability aspects; /li liSupport software integration, testing and troubleshooting activities; /li liProduce and maintain technical documentation according to project standards. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3Mandatory /h3 ul liDegree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines; /li liProven experience in C++ Software Development; /li liStrong knowledge of the Qt Framework and its main components; /li liExperience in the design and development of Graphical User Interfaces (GUI); /li liExperience with event handling, signals slots, widgets and layout management; /li liExperience integrating user interfaces with application functionalities; /li liKnowledge of User Experience (UX) principles and usability best practices; /li liKnowledge of Git Hub version control systems; /li liExperience with Jenkins and CMake; /li liExperience in software integration, testing and troubleshooting; /li liGood English communication skills. /li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liExperience in Defence, Aerospace, Railway or other highly regulated environments; /li liExperience in writing, maintaining and managing technical documentation; /li liKnowledge of requirements and documentation management tools such as DOORS or similar; /li liExperience working in Agile environments; /li liKnowledge of Jira and Confluence; /li liFamiliarity with CI/CD methodologies and automated software delivery processes; /li liKnowledge of software design patterns and software architecture principles; /li liExperience with Qt Quick/QML. /li /ul pbYearly Gross Salary: €40,000 - €50,000 /b /p pAs a leading technology partner in the automotive, aerospace and mechanical engineering sectors, Bertrandt focuses on the trends of digitalization, autonomous systems, connectivity and electric mobility.
