Senior Specialist Tax Compliance

Mission/Objectives

Following the Campari Group worldwide presence and globalization, the increasingly tight relationships between Group Legal Entities and the continuous and dynamic evolutions in the Tax area, Tax Department is seeking an EUROPE and Developing Markets Tax Compliance Senior Specialist to join Campari Group Global HQ in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan). As Tax Compliance Senior Specialist, you will report to the Group Tax Sr. Manager.

Key Responsibilities And Activities

• Ongoing tax compliance fulfillments for the Italian legal entities (e.g. preparation of the direct tax computation and direct/indirect tax returns, support to the other department on tax matters…);
• Coordination of direct tax calculation processes for Developing Markets Campari Group legal entities (e.g. quarterly direct tax closing process)
• Management of indirect tax compliance processes for the Developing Markets Campari Group legal entities (e.g. VAT and GST fulfillments, Intrastat)
• Support in the tax management of cross-border transactions (e.g. withholding ion dividend, interests, etc.) and of the reorganization processes involving Developing Markets Campari Group legal entities (e.g. merger);
• Research and study of the main news/changes of the tax regulations involving / impacting Campari Group;
• Support in the management of the day‑by‑day relationship with the internal and external stakeholders of tax department (e.g. auditors).

External: Tax advisor, Auditor, External Providers

Education / Professional Qualifications

• Business Administration/Law degree with focus in Tax Law
• Fluent in Italian & English
• Experience from 3 to 5 years in tax departments of multinational groups or tax consulting firms working with multinational groups
• Master in Tax Law is a plus
• Ability to use professional data-base (Fisconline, Ipsoa, Eutekne, IBFD)
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (with specific focus on Excel)
• Ability to use SAP is a plus

Compensation And Grading

The indicative annual gross salary (base salary) for this position ranges within EUR 45,000-60,000 - depending on the candidate’s experience, skills and overall profile.

The position also includes a variable compensation component and a benefits package in line with applicable company policies.
